I'm a 60 year old retired teacher experimenting with all sorts of mixed media. I'm focusing on watercolors, but the variety of textures is incredible. I have a big dog and two great cats. My daughter and son-in-law are both creative and I enjoy spending time creating with them. I am a knitter and enjoy knitting socks and sweaters.

Classical music - I'm in the Lansing Concert Band, Clarinet Connexions and the church choir - but I like almost all music...

Chick flicks and shoot 'em up, catch the bad guys, old musicals, and anything with Stewart or Hepburn.

I love blues and purples, but any color you can find in a garden are perfect.

I work on 4 x 4's and altered books...I do a lot of cutting pictures out of mags and lines out of text. I have a lot of vintage pictures but I haven't gotten to the point where I can put the original on one of my altered pages...
