I'm a translator by profession but I love crafting and always have a project (or five) ongoing, although lately my crafting time seems to have been reduced dramatically. I live in the countryside (in Finland), have two big dogs and do a variety of sports (non-competitively). I also like gardening (we grow a lot of our own fruit & veg).

I'm a (non-lacto) vegetarian. Oh and I don't eat chocolate, but my partner does (he'll be happy if you send some)!

Pop-wise my all-time favourite is David Bowie but am also a fan of Barenaked Ladies, Elvis Costello, Sting, Paul Simon, Amy Winehouse, KT Tunstall, Bjork, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand... eclectic, you might say!

I spend equal amounts of time listening to jazz (mainly classic) and classical music as well.

Amelie, Moulin Rouge, Lost in Translation, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Singin' in the Rain, Kaurismäki films, Wallace & Gromit, Chicken Run, Toy Story...

I don't really watch much TV, mainly watch old shows on DVD: Green Wing, Blackadder, Muppet Show, Fawlty Towers, As Time Goes By, Smack the Pony...

Currently enjoying Grey's Anatomy (we're only on Season 2 in Finland).

I'll try almost anything (suits my short attention span), but my main ones are sewing, felting, paper crafts and drawing/painting. Have just embarked on my first quilt. Have nottried knitting or crochet (yet!).
