I am 35 years young. Me and sweet hubby will be celebrating 12 years of marriage on July 29. We have two sweet boys - 4.5 and 2. I am studying to be an academic librarian. Hopefully, I will be done with my degree in about 3 years.
What else? We live about 5 miles from the ocean. The weather sucks right now because we are currently experiencing June gloom, where it is overcast all day long.
As far as my crafty and artistic ambitions go, I pretty enjoy dabble in all sorts of mediums. My current medium is polymer clay. I want to integrate my designs with beads, of which I have a small collection of. I am fascinated by all the kinds of beads that exist out there.
I also stamping, scrapbooking, and web design. I used to work as a web designer, mostly frontend type stuff and creating web ad banners. I enjoy photography, but not so much as the other mediums. I love my paints: acrylics, h20's, and whatever messy stuff that I have on hand. Did I mention that I love polymer clay? I love that can just buy the basic colors: blue, red, and yellow, and mix them up with white and black and create an endless amount of colors.
I want to eventually have my own art studio, but that won't be happening until we move next year to a bigger house. It will even have a backyard. Woohoo!!!
I love rickrack! I love color. I prefer overstated, rather than muted colors. Although, the natural browns and tans combined with orange is gorgeous.
My favorite scrapbooking lines are: Basic Grey, Scenic Route, and 7Gypies.
My tastes are mostly modern, clean lines, but anything eclectic is cool with me.
All time favorite group is Janes Addiction. I am love Amy Winehouse at the moment. Maroon 5 is fun to listen to.
Fear and Loathing, The Departed.
Six Feet Under, Sopranos, Law and Order, Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Polymer Clay, beading, jewelry making, kid's crafts, scrapbooking, stamping, painting, glasscasting.
Oh ya, I love collecting lots of supplies, beads, and I can always need extra polymer clay. :)
