Comment: These are some of THE most beautiful ATCs I've gotten! I love the beeswax!! How do you do it?? I'd give a hundred hearts if I could. :)
Response: I am so glad you enjoyed receiving these ATC's. I love the encaustic medium. the collage etc is done first then a thin layer of encaustic medium is applied ( the medium is a combination of beeswax and a hardener). If you want to try it, you can purchase"pucks" on the internet- you just need something to melt the pucks with- I use an old electric frying pan. Try it - you will love the results!!

Comment: Great repro card of early LA advertising! Wish it hadn't been crammed into my mailbox! The entire top portion was bent! URG!! Anyway, I liked it ! Oh...remember to put the swap name on the card. It took me awhile to go through all the swaps and figure out which one it was for!!

Response: You are welcome - I rusted the paper between two rust plates - a fancy name for old rusty cookie sheets : ).I have to ask , did the small heart stuck to the outside back of the envelope make it all the way there?

I don't know what kind of glue you used, but it didn't hold very well.The picture of Jane had mostly turned loose but I can reglue it. I wouldn't even mention it except that I thought you might want to know for future similar projects. I've had the same problem with some of the glue "sticks", so I now avoid those. ~Gail
Response: Thanks for letting me know- I use YES paste because it doesn't make the paper curl. It is usually a very good paste- I wonder if it has anything to do with the glossy paper- I will have to do some experimentation. Thanks for the rating!!
