Easter Dotee Doll

They are so much fun to make, aren't they? I can't resist signing up for a Dotee swap so here I go again. :)

My first Dotees are going pretty well. I have the faces on the the bodies stuffed and I am making an extra one for me, so I am not traumatised at having to say goodbye to the others when they leave for their new homes. I am in two Dotee swaps at the moment, so working hard to get them done.

Looking forward to the embellishment part next.

i watched the video and that was perfect for someone who has never made a dotee doll. i would love to join the swap but i am up to my neck with study at the moment.

I sent HoolaTallulah a swap-bot e-mail this morning to make sure she is ok. I haven't heard back yet. On her main swap-bot page she said a week ago that she was very sick. Hopefully she is ok. I'm so ready to send out my little dotee doll!

Abril has been ready for a couple of weeks now...she is eagerly waiting to go to her new home. I messaged HoolaTallulah thru here on the weekend and I've not heard back from her yet. I hope all is well with her.

I noticed on another dotee swap that hollatallulah had not sent her swap. I hope that her illness is not serious. I wish her a speedy recovery. Prayers her way.

I mailed my Dotee out Last Friday so I am sorry I did not post it as sent on here. It went out on time so she should be arriving at her new home any day. Again sorry for not posting it as sent. I did'nt flake! :)
