Unique & Interesting Tea Swap

You like your teas, eh! I've just joined 3 you're running, to restock my variety box at work which is down to my last couple left from a tea swap last year - looks like I'm not going to need to eke them out for a while!

A SIMPLE AROMATIC CUPPACCINO TEA 2-3 Five Roses® Prince of Wales or Earl Grey teabags 400 ml boiling water 1 cinnamon stick 1 clove 1 little twist of orange peel (pith removed) a drop or two vanilla extract or essence or best 1/2 vanilla pod sugar, to taste 250 ml milk 2% or full-cream cinnamon (Makes tea for two!)

Heat the teapot. Pour freshly boiled water over the bags add cinnamon, clove and orange peel. Allow to draw. Heat milk with vanilla and aerate, when thick and frothy, pour tea into heated cups and spoon over the froth. Dust with cinnamon.

Only herbal teas for me please

Please, no cinnamon or cloves in my tea. I'm allergic!

I love that you are doing this tea swap. There's nothing more grating than a swapper sending a bunch of tea bags you can purchase at the store yourself:) and on that note I'll say I found a tea parlor in Old Town Pasadena, that rocked my socks. I had a complete afternoon tea and while the sandwiches, scones and even edible pansy flowers were lovely,(see my flickr pg for pic) what I remember most was discovering a new tea flavor. The waitress brought me my first pot of Earl Grey & Jasmine tea. I poured a cup added a splash of half n half, took a sip and almost swooned:)

This'll be fun to do up a tea swap for a partner.

I prefer teas that don't curdle milk i.e., no herbal only teas for me:)

This sounds lovely! I am an avid tea drinker and when I participated in another swap, my partner sent me the best tea! Exotic and flavorful!!! I'm so excited about this. Yay for tea! I'm open to all teas!!

My husband is an even bigger tea addict than I am! This should be fun!

And we live near several international markets, so lots of fun there...

I am struggling to find tea that is individually wrapped. Is it okay if I package the tea myself??

I'm a real tea lover. I love any kind of good tea (i also love herbal tea, but i rather receive real tea; green, black, earl grey, white tea, asam Banaspati, oolong, ...) There' a speciality coffee shop over here that sells the best tea ever. And I also have my own tea box over here full of treasure. Can't wait to do the swap.

Wow I just made it in the nick of time! This sounds awesome and I can't wait to find out who my partners are. I love, love, love trying new and exotic teas, the more the merrier. These swaps are helping me share some of my tried and true teas with others while whittling down my stash a bit and getting tea I'd never ever find around here.

Been a hectic week. Glad I am going to make it on time. Started to get worried. Didn't have a car for 2 days.

Managed to find some tea individually packed but I am also wrapping a few bags myself.

This has been an interesting experience.
