I am a big fan of polka-dots lately! I love the vintage feel of a swiss dotted blouse or cute look of a ladybug. Let's keep this straightforward and easy since it's my first swap. I'd like this to be a fairly inexpensive swap and have it be more about creating than buying. So let's say less than $10. Try and be creative and make dotted/spotted items with what you have on hand. Check your partners profile and see what type of things they might like. No special requests please, unless you have allergies or sensitivities. You could do dotted notecards, a bag, a scarf, jewelry with dotted beads, ribbons, or fabric. Or you could use things like ladybugs, strawberries (tiny seeds!), dalmations, dominoes, freckles or any other spotted, dotted item can be used for inspiration. You are not limited to perfectly round dots. You may include an ATC if you'd like, but this is not, primarily, an ATC swap. Also, just because this is a low monetary value, please don't interpret that as meaning you should send cheap junk. I'm not thinking dollar store clearance items here. In my mind I'm imagining 3-5 (or more as your time, effort & inspiration permit!) handcrafted items and maybe 1 or 2 store bought items as your $10 budget permits. Keep in mind you may have an international partner- I like to use the flat rate (large and small) envelopes that the USPS offers for global priority. Newbies with completed profiles are welcome but need to message me first. All swappers should have 4.5 or higher with no more than one no send. If you don't fit that profile & want to swap then shoot me a note! |
