Description: | |
For this swap you will create an apron for 1 partner. Review your partner's profile and try your best to make an apron they will really enjoy wearing. For example, if they enjoy retro kitchen items make them a cute retro-style apron like you might find at Anthropologie.com. Get as creative as you can! Once you sign up, please post your size below. GUIDELINES: 1. Apron must be washable 2. It must be handmade to some extent (you can pre-purchase an apron & embellish it) Earn a Heart By Sewing it Yourself 3. Make sure you know your partner's size. (Email or PM them if they have not posted their size below.) 4. The minimum value should be $5- but who can put a value on handmade items? ** www.AllHeartChefs.com / Wal-Mart / Craft Stores are great places to find inexpensive pre-made aprons ready for you to embellish ** ** www.Ehow.com & www.DIYNetwork.com are good sources for how-to instructions for making all kinds of aprons. (search for "retro apron" or "denim apron" for example) ** This is a site with directions for converting a skirt into an apron http://www.shasta.com/suesgoodco/newcivilians/womenswear/aprons.htm ** NO Flaker's Please! This is a swap for those of us who genuinely enjoy creating thoughtful gifts for others. I have included plenty of time for you to complete your project. You MUST have a 4.5 rating or above, 5 completed swaps and NO no-sends within 3 months. Open to US and Canada only (shipping fees have just gotten so high!) Contact me if you have questions. Hope you enjoy the swap! |
