Rocky Horror Picture Show ATC Swap

so I have never actually done an ATC, but my obsession with Rocky Horror has encouraged me to start now.

They are addicting, much like RHPS.

ATC's are really simple if you get to the basics of it. They are 2.5 X 3.5- so if you dont want to cut the bases yourself, just use a playing card. Decorate the front anyway you like and cover the back (if using a playing card) and put your info there. Voila!

I like to use matboard for my ATC's since its so sturdy, but its a personal preference. <3

OMG! This is a GREAT idea! We still have RHPS here every other Saturday, and a couple of months ago I took my 16 year old for her first showing. I hadn't been in years! But RHPS is like crack, one puff and you're hooked again. I'm too old and fat to be Columbia anymore, but I can still enjoy the show!

I love Rocky Horror! I saw it for the first time when I was visiting a friend in Germany. It was the only movie she had in English. We watched it like, ten times!

After surfing around and looking at galleries I am sooooooo excited at the thought of collecting these. and making them! Yay art!

okayquick question...if i started a swap for RHPS like items...would anyone join???? Items like masks, undershirts, condoms...those would work lol

True confessions time--I played Magenta in a floor show when I was in college--I still have my costumes! I was huge RHPS collector as well and even have a full set of the original trading cards! I'm in.

Ok all I actually started making these! OMG they are soooo fun! I am using collage, digital, stamping, inking, teearing, and more. eeee, fun! I am actually making 9 so I can keep some. I can already see a new addiction....

I saw RHPS sooo many times when I was in college ahem years ago...I dressed up also...maybe not exactly like the characters, but in the same genres... would it be ok to make ATCs from the photos i have of myself and my friends all decked out for HPS? Have any of you received from ArtIndulgence for this swap? I see she's apparently had an eye injury, but she's also been logging in just about daily. Several comments on late sends, and she won't reply to messages I've sent her.
