lifelong artist, professional designer, mother, wife. i enjoy "painting" with inks; i cut my own stencils; i sew. i also enjoy photography, both digital and film. i believe artistic expression is vital to living, in that it is a lot easier for some to express their thoughts, fears and desires through a chosen medium rather than talk alone. I love indie art and outsider art, all media.

I have a 17 year old son who inspires me and exasperates me every day.

I have a loving husband who is my best friend and lover.

I have 2 dogs that hold my heart. They are always glad to see me and make few demands.

I am a design manager for a textile manufacturer, so I am surrounded by commercial design every day, that means I am under constant deadlines and budget constraints and manage several highly creative individuals. I enjoy swapping since this is NOT commercial and the art I make here comes directly from my soul and is a gift to my swap partner.

I love to look at most colors and color combinations. I am currently in love with the art, culture and colors of India and hope to visit there eventually.

I also have a lifelong "escape to the South Pacific" fantasy. Maybe I was a cannibal in an earlier life?
