i am sorry that i am late on my swaps yet again. i will be caught up within the week, and then i will be taking a break from swapping. i am always behind now that the kids are out of school and i am back to full time work (no time to craft ;( or hang out in the studio without being disturbed!)

anyways... i am a single mom with THREE boys ...2 dogs (the little one is pictured above, upside down and wanting a belly rub!) 3 cats, a couple of fish and snails, and a newt :) i also work as much as i can and have a pretty busy life!! i am even trying to start a business with my best friend... needless to say, all this responsibility takes up most of the days... so i create and have started swapping to actually get some ME time!! i love to try new techniques and art forms... even though i am always neurotic about my work (i want perfection instantly!!) I love seeing everyone else's work, esp. when i am having a creative block ;) and i have been so happy with everything i have received in my swaps, THANK YOU!

pick a day.... i listen to almost everything (even classiscal and some opera!)and don't like hip-hop, rap, whatever it's called, it just gives me a headache! right now i am on a country kick... but next week, who knows?

anything wierd and off the wall...kingdom hospital is my creative inspiration... if you know what that is, you may have questions about my sanity! :) but it does put me in the mood to be crafty for some wierd reason!

csi, court tv, reality tv, and the news... sometimes the discovery channell and of course the kids subject me to cartoon network- mandy is my idol! (for those of you who don't have kids.. watch "the grimm adventures of billy and mandy" one day! i think i may have been like her as a kid! lol)

i am addicted to atc's! rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking, photography, altered art and books, collaging, some watercolor and acrylic painting (i am learning to paint still!) anything new and different, i have to try at least once!! my favorite techniques involve aging and distressing whatever it is i am working on... and i am a big fan of those great results by accident! i always try to finish whatever i start, even if i don't like the looks of it at the beginning. it seems that other people love those pieces the most! oh, and i dont follow the "directions" on any of my art supplies ;) i used to be in the jewelery business, so i dabble (very little!) in design and want to learn more!
