The Thrift Store T-Shirt Swap

Hey guys! I'll start things off by listing my size:

I wear a Youth Large or an Adult Small/x-small. I don't like pink t-shirts. :)

What FUN!!!!! My favorite T-shirts have all begun their life with me used!! My size is XL or 1X (although I have several which I sleep in that are 2X and 3X. Just the other day a lady stopped me and wanted to know where she could get a T-shirt like the one I was wearing. It was one that had something similar to a smiley face on it that looked like it was screaming and the caption was "I can't take it any more!" She was said to hear that it was a thrift store item, that meant she might never find another.

Oh goodie! I got one of my favourite shirts from a thrift store swap.

I wear a medium size. The only colour I don't wear is bright yellow.

This is a great idea! I go to the thrift store but never really took the time to look through the clothes, they never seem to be organized very well! But I love t-shirts with funny sayings or random pictures, so I am excited to see what I can find and what I will get! My shirt size is an adult large. There really isn't a color I won't wear.

I love this swap! MY SIZE: An adult XL would be good, or an L if it's a 'roomy' L. Any color is fine: surprise me, please.

I spend most of my time trying to find t-shirts like these. I don't like light pink shirts.

I wear a medium or large.... who cares if its tight! my little guy wears a size 10, if you find a good one for him or me that's cool, I know that when I look for me a shirt I end up with 3 for him, and if I look for him one I get 3 for me!(I definately don't expect both!)

What a fun Swap!!! I have found some really great t shirts at thrift shops. Anyway, my size would be a women's medium up to a large (I don't mind if it's a little roomy) or a men's medium. Any color is fine by me. Hoping for something really different!

Woohoo! I am a women's size small (size 6 to 8 on the not-vanity sizing scale). I really dislike neons (like yellow...) I'd love to have some sort of queer friendly shirt, but will love anything!

I love having another reason to go to the thrift shop. I get about 98% of my clothing/housewares from them. I guess that's not so important...heh

Awright...too Burf316..once the swap closes you will receive a message that tells you who to send to, I really recommend reading the FAQ, it'll make your life easier, I know it did mine...Also having more detail in your profile is good, the more detail, the more chance you get something that is suited to you...rather than something that can fit a general category....

Now...looks like I'm not alone, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase, not yellow of any kind. This idea is brilliant and I'm a little jealous I didn't think of it first hahahahha.

I wear and adult male, small/medium, if it's small and a bit long, then cool, if not stick with a medium.

This is gonna rule...in ways that only ninjas know...

what fun! I certainly couldn't resist signing up for this one! I wear a 2XL and (like many others) prefer not to wear yellow because it makes me look like death warmed over! (Why does yellow do that?) Actually any color will do since I layer a lot - it gets chilly enough for sweaters here in the Pacific Northwest all year long - but it is fun to wear something with a cool picture or a funny saying. I can wear a youth M-L and an Adult XS-S. I really dont have a color that I dont like but I prefer things that are pretty much dark in color. With the exception of pink. I <3 pink. :)

What a great swap! My normal wardrobe these days is a thrift store tee and a pair of jeans. My favorite one i've found is simple and reads "I eat glue". I love to wear it to see everyones different reactions! lol.

I'm a Med-Large, depending on your countries sizing. I have a 36-38" bust, so whatever size will fit that bust in, with a bit of wiggle room, will be great ;P

I wear an XL or sometimes L (like if it's a Hanes "Beefy" T/unisex) and I have a lot of white and grey Ts...

I'm not necessarily saying don't get those, because if they have a cool logo or pattern, I wouldn't want to pass them up. But I'd prefer an "actual" color! :)

How I wish I were caught up, because this is right up my alley. I get most of my things from the thrift shop. They're just fun. Well, and cheap too. Erinbit, I hope you run this one again.

I wear an adult small(mens) or youth xl if there is such a thing.I'm a girl but I like mens t-shirts. I like any color of t-shirt as long as it's soft and vintage looking. I especially like tees from the 80's or 90's. Any thing with neon print will be awesome!

I love thrift shopping and I love Tees, so guess I have to join.

I don't care what color I get as long as it's not too bright or too dark or too white. And size, I'm usually a ladies medium except for when I'm feeling difficult and decide to be a ladies large or a men's medium. Or if I've been really dieting and manage to squeeze back into a ladies small or child's large for a day or two.

I wouldn't want anything vulgar, religious, politically incorrect or that's promoting booze/cigarettes/s-e-x or any such. But other than that, I'm sure I'll like whatever I get, so go wild! :)

I'm an adult 2XL/Men's XL if it's a bit roomy. (Big chest and all)

I like pretty much all colors. Not fond of overly heavy cotton blends, though. With sweaters and all, it can get a bit hot. :]

I joined this swap for my son, he is a 15 year old teenage boy who loves music (he's in a garage band), sports, video games and anything vintage or from a thrift store. He doesn't like his shirts big, so I would guess an adult small or youth large would work.

He is a great Christian kid. His goals, first to make it big with his band, next he wants to go into the ministry. He and his best friend play in two different church youth ministry bands. He sings and plays bass guitar, acoustic guitar, saxophone, and drums.

He works with the local special ed students at his high school as well as at church.

For me, it’s been easier shopping for guys than gals at thrift stores so if you have any troubles, just pick out a cool men’s large t-shirt - I can always give it to my husband.

Either a L or XL. Either will work. That just means that it will be fitting(L) or loose(XL). Use your best judgment. And I don't like purple. (Unless that shirt is particularly cool, then get the purple one.)

I like fun kawaii or cute tees with fun graphics or sayings. I also like ones with names of universities on them (e.g., harvard, usc, etc.). Overall, though, I'm not that picky :)
