Picture Storybook - International Swap

This swap sounds very funny, I'd like to participate, I just joined it!

I have only two questions: - does this book have to contain pictures? - can this book be already ready (I mean, I saw books written in foreign language and with translation in English just next to each page, I don't know if it's ok)?

Welcome to my first swap! I'm so glad you are joining us. Yes, it must be a picture storybook so with pictures, but after that, as long as its not a political, religious or baby (book with only a few words) book, it's all up to you. And of course, it's great if its already contains English translation so everybody understands what it's all about.

This is exciting! =) Are you going to set a limit on the number of people from each country to avoid sending to someone in the same place? I'm watching for now, but I'll have my eye out for a fun book to send. Thanks for sharing such a cool idea! xo, Kitty

Hi yourkitty, I'm not going to set a limit on the number of people from each country. Because even though I live in USA, I'll be sending a Japanese book to my partner. So in the event that someone gets assigned to a partner in the same country and she/he'd rather have a book from another country, I'll be more than happy to do private swap with her/him later. :) Hope you will join my swap!!

I´d like to receive a book in English as I´m teaching English and I can use the book in my lessons. You can see one of my all time favourites in my profile, but of course any book with lovely pictures is great. If my partner will be from a non-English-speaking country, other languages are fine too. I don´t want to be too picky...

I was having problems finding a nice and quite long picture storybook to translate, so I preferred to leave the swap...to avoid to arrive at the deadline without books. I'm so sorry, I hope to participate to another similar one later so that in the meanwhile I can look for a good storybook!

I'm sorry you are leaving.... it doesn't have to be a long picture book.... just didn't like babybook which contains only a couple words per page. Well, if you change your mind, you are always welcome to come back. we have another week to sign up. :)
