Her last name is the same as mine! Thanks

TeaNi 12/13/2007 #

I see alot of familiar names from the sticker swap which was so fun, my 2 girls are begging me to do more for them, so this is perfect. They have their own little space on my profile, so I think all the information you would need to know is there. Thanks!

honeya9705 12/16/2007 #

My kids are listed on my proflie. They would like anything that will fit in an envelope! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I'm glad everyone is liking these kid ones. I think that I will be keeping up the kid swap thing. My kids loved to get mail! I try to keep it cheap beacause I dont like spending a lot having 3 kids in the house.

You dont need an envelope for each child. Just enough items for each child. There is no limit to what you can put in there just that you use only one stamp.

Thanks for joinning!!!

honeya9705 12/16/2007 #

beetiger that is a great idea!! I think that will be another swap! Drawings from the kids! Thanks! look for it soon! I want to do about 2-3 kid swaps a month. just to keep the mail coming in!

I have 5 children but will limit to the last two. Tatiana is 11 and likes lip gloss, pens, journels, her fav color is pink and candy jewelery. Sierra is 9 and loves High School Musical stuff, stickers, pens, journels, sour candy.

honeya9705 12/29/2007 #

You can use any size envie that only takes one stamp.

bluegrassgirl 12/29/2007 #

Thanks Honeya9705... My DH thought that you couldn't use any sized envelope bigger than letter sized or it will require more than one stamp. Do you or anyone know if that's true? I looked on USPS site and it looks like there are priority envelopes, but didn't see stamps that were for more than first class. Just trying to get it straight,as we might want to send more than what fits in a letter sized envelope. Thanks so much!

TryshaH81 01/ 1/2008 #

My kids are Dallas age 9 boy,Payton age 8 girl and Draven age 6 boy.I have a list of thier likes/dislikes on my profile!

TeaNi 01/ 1/2008 #

Hi! I need some clarification, also, does this mean we must limit what we send to one first class (41 cent) stamp, or just one stamp regardless of the denomination? If I wanted to send a slightly bigger envelope, and say, put one $1 stamp on, would that be cheating? I don't want to be a rule breaker, but I just don't know of much I could send that wouldn't weigh more than the first class letter rate stamp would require :-P But if I must, just let me know! Thanks!

nana2sweets 01/ 2/2008 #

TeaNi you raised a very good question. I don't want to break the rules either. When I went shopping I realized that some of the items I wanted to get would need more than just a .41 cent stamp.

honeya9705 01/ 2/2008 #

WOW what a great question...

I guess 1 stamp would be any amount that was not made by a postal clerk.

However, I must let you know that I think most everyone will be sending a 41 cent stamp.

I think that everyone will be understanding since it is for the kids.

Gloria

My son Kitt is 7.

TeaNi 01/ 2/2008 #

thanks for getting back to me, honeya9705!

TryshaH81 01/ 3/2008 #

I have a problem.I mail all of my packages at the post office so mine will probably be made by a postal clerk. Ours believes in even printing a .41 stamp instead of using a stamp that is made by the postal service. I hope that make sense!!! I don't want to be rated badly for not following the rules when that is how my post office works.

TeaNi 01/ 3/2008 #

JustMeTh81, I am one of your partners you send to, and so far, I have never given anyone a poor rating unless I just didn't receive anything at all, so rest easy ;-)

ambritsmom40 01/ 3/2008 #

Hi, mine went in the mail today.

TryshaH81 01/ 4/2008 #

Mine will go out on Monday!

bluegrassgirl 01/ 4/2008 #

I also went to the post today and they said that only a letter sized envelope takes one stamp. Or, you can do a priority, bigger type evelope with a priority stamp for $4.20, which is what I'm probably going to do, because my stuff doesn't fit in a regular letter sized envelope. But, I don't want to get a bad rating, especially since this is my first. I have beetiger and brighteyes1028, so is this okay? I'm going back tomorrow to mail it . p.s how do you know who has your own name?

Sophie 01/ 5/2008 #

Sorry for leaving a comment so late into the swap. I hope it helps. Disregard if the packages has been send already. My daughter's name is Erin and she is 2. She loves all the girly kinda stuff. She is into the Disney Characters, Hello Kitty and Barney. She likes to color and she likes to draw. So she is always asking for paper, pencils, colors and chalk. She is easy to please and she is easily entertained. I am sure she will love anything that is send to her.

To my partners, please comment me in my profile when the swap has been send. I am having problems with my post office because they dont want to deliver to my house due to construction around my neighborhood. So anything I am expecting I need to go ask about it at the post office.

Mine went out today!

honeya9705 01/ 7/2008 #

bluegrassgirl- you should be fine. everyone understands that this is for the kids & we ALL just LOVE to see our kids HAPPY! I just dont want you or your kids to be disapointed if there envie is smaller & has less stuff then what you sent out.

If your post office makes all of there 41 cent stamps then there is nothing that you can do about it. I wouldnt worry about it,

Gloria

bluegrassgirl 01/ 7/2008 #

Thanks Honeya9705... We sent ours out today! My son had fun putting together the envelopes and will love "anything" (even a letter) he receives, no matter the size. He is at the age where he just loves getting mail, especially since his two older sisters get some from time to time. Sena
