Hi I'm Bec - 24 y/o mum of two little people living in Canberra, Australia. I'm currently studying nursing which I'm really enjoying and hope to one day be a midwife. When I'm not at uni, I'm sewing for my work from home business, involved in promotion of cloth nappies and baby wearing or doing something crafty!

I listen to so many different types - really depends on my mood. Some days I love Ben Harper, Bernard Fanning, John Butler, just chill out music. Other times its Dido, Tracey Chapman and then if I'm doing housework I need Pussy Cat Dolls - something upbeat and funky! The only things I don't listen to are rap music and country & western stuff - it's just not me!

I read ANYTHING - love biographies, autobiographies, mysteries, thrillers etc. Not really into the romatic Mills & Boon stuff but most things I'll pick up and check out.

Love romantic comedies & documentaries - not really into comedy - ie Jackass sort of comedy. Really not into scary movies either, don't mind a mystery/thriller but not blood & gore sort of horror stuff.

We don't have a T.V (by choice) but before we got rid of it I liked watching crime shows (Law & Order etc) local productions (Australian dramas) & my 2 favourites - Desperate Housewives & Grey's Anatomy.

I knit & sew mainly - dapple in a bit of scrapbooking. Would love to learn how to crotchet but haven't had time to yet. I love reconstructed clothing and do a fair bit of that for the kids and I - I think its great to see something which is totally unfunctionable in its current state and to turn it into something cool, functional and practical. I love seeing my kids in homemade things too!
