About Me

I'm a middle school art-teacher.

I just found out about the wide community of art-teachers that blog, so I started my own at the beginning of this year.

I got in touch with people who create zentangles and got to learn about ATC.

I want to trade ATC with my classes, but first I want to try it myself!

Things I like

I like so many different art styles and I try to do them all myself too.

At the moment I like every kind of ATC very much. I just got to know about them and started trading them a few weeks ago.

I like zentangles, watercolors, acrylic paint, collage, modern art, vintage art, ... oh I could go on forever.

I Like color, but sometimes an artwork is stronger without it ... that's the artist's choice.

I also collect stamps so if you post me a package I'd like it if you use nice stamps of your country if you can.
Not that I'll give you a bad rating if you don't off course, I just love those colorful little pieces of art on the envelope ...

Things I'd rather not get.

Anything political, religious, vulgar, ...

Sometimes it can work on a work of art, but I'd rather not you sent this stuff. If you really want to send me something like this you can always send me a message and tell me about the artwork and why you would really love to send me something in this theme and I will think about it. Although I'll never will approve something vulgar :/

My blogs.

I have 2 English blogs about art.

My first is http://artlessonsfrombelgium.blogspot.com/ where I post about my art projects in 7th and 8th grade. It is intended for inspiration, maybe you'll find some ideas there too.

My other is http://teachermotherandwife.blogspot.com/ titled 'Touch of Beauty'. There I post about my zentangles, my ATC and other challenges. If I get a swap from you, you'll probably find a post about it over there too!

Children ATC swaps.

If you have a group of children (youth club, class, birthday party, ...) and you want to trade ATC with some classes of mine in Belgium (7th and 8 th grade), you can send me a message.

From September to June we can swap ATC cards (in a special theme if you want that).

Comment: I didn't realize that the pictures you used were your ATCs for this swap. When I first opened it I was thinking "hey, this person just copied it from the photo," and then I realized it was a photo of this atc. it is super cute, I'm happy to add it to my collection.

Comment: liked the ATC and the fact that it traveled so far. Our politicians are out of sync. Making it difficult to get anything done. Republicans are refusing to compromise or have legitimate plans. It is all ridiculous. The EU has a similar problem.
