Relatively new to the online crafting world, I've been crafting for as long as I can remember! I have a B.F.A. in Graphic Design. By day I work as a Marketing Graphic Designer...inside of a cube. For fun I try to make my Cubical as decorative as possible...hence the crafts. :)
cats, unicorns, butterflies, hello kitty , sanrio, kawaii, precious moments, looney toons, angels, rainbows, disney, super heroes, dragons, fantasy stuff, teddy bears
Honestly, I don't read very much, when I do it's non fiction arts/crafty books or Graphic Design related books. I do love craft, decor, and fashion magazines.
My favorite Craft books are: 1. The Crafter Companion 2. Romantic Home Sewing 3. The French-Inspired Home 4. Tips for Vintage Style by Cath Kidston 5. Creating Vintage Style: Stylish Ideas & Step-by-step Projects 6.Country Living Shoestring Chic: Extraordinary Style for Less 7. Last Minute Patchwork Gifts
Buttons (new and vintage, as long as they are novel!) and old magazines (LIFE, Saturday Evening Post, Good housekeeping), Anything with Scottie Dogs (the white ones are my fav)
I love vintage, french country, cottage style arts and crafts. I'm especially interested in ALL THINGS Art nouveau. I'm not much of a knitter or crochet person. I love to sew and generally appreciate anything sewn. I like the colors Salmon and Aqua -- together and apart! :) I love vintage fabrics, Cath Kidston ANYTHING, courier and ives type prints. I am Catholic so I celebrate all Christian Holidays. Vintage Images of the Blessed mother, Mary are always a hit with me.
