English is not my native language, if you find any mortifying mistakes, please let me know
I'm into a few newbie swaps, so if you are also a newbie (from the USA) there's something special about German addresses you should know.
Please write the address like this:
First Name Last Name
Street (here: Address Line 1)
Postal Code City
GERMANY
Hello,
it's a great idea, to meet such a lot of creative people around the world.
I live in Germany. Beside my husband and my two great teenage daughters two cats share my life.
Knitting is my favourite hobby, I'm addicted to sock yarn. Seriously, if my husband ever will take a look under our bed, where I store my "little" stash, I'll get into trouble :-))
I like the idea of recycling or upcycling. At the moment any good looking paper or clean cardboard from any packaging of goods is put into a punch to get pricing labels for the next selfmade-market. So, if you're sending something to me and you have some cardbord (3x2 inch) that you otherwise would put into the trashbin - give it a chance for a second life in my paperbox :-)
Nothing special, but I like oriental / bellydance music. And sometimes reggae.
The radio is always on, I just listen to actual pop/rock music, well, rap and hip-hop is not my style. I'm just too old, I guess :-)
All books from Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. They have a special kind of humor.
Life of Brian is my all time favourite
The Big Bang Theory. Because sometimes my behavior is very nerdish...
And the Sherlock Homes series. Well, another nerd... :-)
iZombie. In my family nobody gets a sun teint, maybe I just identify with the mail character...
Game of Thrones. One of the actors is exactly as old as my daughter, do I develop maternal feelings?
I'm addicted to wool. So, what to do with it?
Well, some profiles look like purchase orders ;-) so I keep it short, because anything you choose to send for me will be appreciated.

Welcome to Swap-bot... from Jean in the USA.
Finnish post offices are so cool, Germany is much to conservative to offer such stamps :-)
I think you're referring to these stamps? ;)
