I love children and work with young children. I live with my girlfriend, dog, and cat in Los Angeles, California. I like to read and use the Internet to obsessively research topics (schnauzers, speech acquisition, cat's play needs) I am interested in. I also knit, sew, and draw. I write a lot. I love to travel (although I primarily do it on a fairly local scale).

I like seeing plays and going to museums a lot, too, because I feel like it really enriches my life.

Knitting, sewing, painting, quiet book making, drawing, short story writing, zine making, toys etc. There are always two to three rotating projects I am working on. Right now 1) knitting an alpaca blanket for my girlfriend's mom & 2) montessori inspired color matching toys.

Things I really like include: schnauzers, cats (especially maine coons), stickers (especially small ones that I use in my planner), toys, silly putty like items (from play-do to slime), yarn, string, wash tape, crafts, arts, national parks, actually all parks, birds

Some things I care about: national public radio, art museums and theatre performances (especially low cost or free ones), issues of equality, environmentalism, appreciating nature for the sake of its beauty
