My name is Julie, and I live in Lancaster, PA USA. I recently received a Cricut machine, and that got me interested in making cards... which led to Swaps, Crops and RAK's... which led me to this great site. I am an active swapper on another website, and I'd like to give this one a try too. I am married, have a young daughter, and work full-time as an administrative assistant. Looking forward to fun swaps with everyone here!

Things I particularly like are birds (especially peacocks and owls), butterflies and zoo animals (especially giraffes and monkeys).

My favorite color is peach, and I love the color combinations of turquoise/brown and pink/brown.

My family has a house at the beach, which I love. Sand between the toes and an ocean breeze are a wonderful combination!

I listen to a lot of audiobooks, since I never have the time to sit and read. I didn't think I would like 'listening' to books as opposed to 'reading' them, but I found that I like it just fine!

Some of my favorite books are: The Last Child, The Help, Memoirs of a Geisha, The DaVinci Code, Water for Elephants, Life of Pi and Wicked.

I am behind on my new releases, but my favorite movie of all time is the Wizard of Oz.

Other favorite are: The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, The Goonies, Avatar, & Father of the Bride.

I love GLEE! It is my favorite show running right now. I have watched every season of American Idol, I will watch America's Got Talent, and I also like whatever is on A&E and Food Network.

I make cards, so that is the type of swap I will take part in the most.

When crafting, I typically use my Cricut & Cuttlebug machines and I use lots of ribbon, stickles, distress inks, brads and clear stamps.

I love looking at other artists' work for inspiration, and welcome comments on my own work, especially since I am just a beginner.

Just downloaded all of the Glee albums for a recent roadtrip. Quirky - I know!

I love chocolate covered cherries, but they don't travel well here unless it's winter.

I also love Mint-Chocolate anything!

I drink coffee and love trying different flavors.
