I am 30 and I live in Mid Wales with my husband, cat, 2 goldfish and 2 guinea pigs.

I work for the local university and have a masters degree in Fine Art

My cat is called Mursen (pronounced Mir-sen). She is a 2 year old tan tabby and is absolutely gorgeous. I am pagan so I wanted a name for her that would suit her being a witches cat. Mursen comes from a Welsh childrens programme called Rala Rwdins. Rala Rwdins is a witch and Mursen is her cat.

We also have two guina pigs called Tuvok and Neelix. They are named after two characters from Star Trek Voyager. I won;t go into massive detail but if there are any trekkies out there you may remember the episode where Tuvok and Neelix get melded into one after a transporter accident. Well the guineas came from two seperate litters (roan and chinchilla) and the breeder put them together at an early age. Neelix had to be Neelix becasue of his orange colouring and then it only seemed logical (hehe) to name the other Tuvok.

My fish are Chuck & Norris. They are Shubunkin goldfish and both have one black eye each. I'll leave you work out the rest.

As I said before, I am Pagan and I will stress that I in no way push my views on anyone else. I take my religion seriously and live by it's teachings. I have the upmost respect for everyone else's point of view and live by the philosophy 'it doesn;t matter what you believe in, so long as you believe'. I would love to meet other Pagans so say hi if you're around.

Mostly I'm here to meet and make new friends and swap with people from different parts of the world. i love learning about different cultures and beliefs and meeting like minded souls.

I admit to being a book worm. I have creaking book cases full of all kinds of books and I loathe parting with any, despite my partners nagging that he thinks the roof might cave in one day. Big favourites on my bookshelf include:

Lord of the Rings (will always be number 1), The Hobbit, Dracula, Anything by Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson The Cat Who series Terry Pratchett - I live in Lamedos don't u know, China Meiville, Photography books, Trudi Canavan Asterix

I love making cupcakes, making things with my hands, cooking, photography, gaming, facebook, the darkside, am a bit of a nerd. I love Start Trek and Star Wars, I believe in fairies and ghosts. I think everyone has a soulmate. I think that it doesn't matter what you believe in, just so long as you BELIEVE! I love animals. Am a little bit bonkers but have been told that that adds to my appeal. I cry when watching animal hospital and am a sucker for donating money to the homeless guy with a dog.
