About Me

Hello!

I'm a special education teacher and currently i work at an awesome non-profit. i just graduated with my Master Degree in Special Ed, and an emphasis on autism studies.

I graduated from art school with a BFA in painting in 2005.

I live in a 105 year old victorian house with 4 cats, 3 dogs and 1 husband.

I love film, painting, tattoos, bunnies and roller derby.

(also, beer, vintage, steampunk, baking, food, cooking, make-up, animal bones and pieces, circus, art, history, rabbits, animals, macabre, dark, funny stuff, comic books, and generally geeky things.)

I'm an Aspie, and if you don't know what that is, you should google it.

Favorite Books

Anything spooky, horror, sci-fi, and anything funny, dark, and a little wrong.

I read ALL THE TIME, so listing books would take too long so let's just say everything with the written word is fair game including comic books, graphic novels, instruction manuals, cook books and the occasional text book just for fun.

Favorite Movies

Horror movies are a passion, I also love black comedy, documentaries, weird cartoons, sci-fi, absurdity, classics, etc.

I hate: chick flicks, overly emotional drivel, pretensions crap and other tragedies committed to celluloid.

Favorite Television

True Blood, Dexter, Bored to Death, Weeds, United States of Tara, Oddities, I love the Science Channel, the Food Network, Animal Planet, HBO, Showtime, etc.

Favorite Crafts

I'm a fine artist by trade, mostly painting and water media.

Craft wise i embroider, sew, knit, wood burn, collage, decoupage, and generally glue things to other things.

I also like to color... as in coloring books. Soothing.

I no Likey

I hate "country cute", goth poetry, religious stuff, Twilight books/movies, random letter stickers, emo music, chick flicks, chick lit, precious moments, and clowns.

****WEATHER WARNING***

We are having large rains recently and my mailbox is not the "Best" if you could please mail things to me in plastic coated envelopes, OR baggie the items inside the envelope i would really appreciate it!

Response: Hey! Glad you liked everything. I collect coloring books, then I photo-copy pages, color them and turn them into envelopes or cut them up for collages.
