July was a crazy busy month .. all in a good way. Lots of great plans and ideas for August .. will see which manifest.
Just removed myself from a few groups that I subscribed to when first joining swapbot. During my membership, I have had some unusual experiences (emails) from members. So have been evaluating my priorities here. Nothing bad, mind you, just experiential.
Be well!

Yoga Teacher (practicing 40+ years, teaching 30+), CrossFit coach (practicing 2 years, coaching 1 year). So Im into health and fitness!
Im one of the Peacheekeen Georgia ATC'ers .. we meet monthly. Im a colored pencil and ink artist, branching into mixed media, and returning to charcoals and water color after a long absence. Am a published author, own a Yoga studio, love to camp, hike, bike and generally be creative physically, mentally and spiritually.
Varied. Rock to Rap, Country to Classical - mostly, off-the-wall, avant-garde, and innovative.
In particular, I favor Kirtan and Mantras (traditional India singing and music), and the American innovative interpretations, as heard in Wah!, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, and Brenda McMorrow. In addition I like meditational music and binaural beats.
Avid reader, mostly non-fiction: history, archeology, and language studies. Spiritual and insightful books are always close by. R.W. Emerson is as constant on my nightstand as the reading lamp; and I am a H.P. Lovecraft fan - read all his stories (even have the 'Encyclopedia Cthulhiana').
Currently reading 'The Artist's Way: A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity', by Julia Cameron.
-Being There (w/Peter Sellers);
-What Dreams May Come (w/Robin Williams);
-The Wizard of Oz;
-The Sound of Music;
-The Matrix, I and II
I dont like commercials so dont watch television. I do however have netflix, and enjoy foreign films.
Currently on netflix I am enjoying 'Doc Martin" (BBC tv); and 'Grim' (American tv).
Have always been artistically inclined; actively so in my early years. I think creative is more than pen on paper, but happens in every aspect of our life .. from cooking to walking, to being with friends to breathing.
Recently Ive been part of a month picture group on facebook. Each day of the month has a single word that members look out for, take a picture of, and share.
I enjoy cooking; consider myself a 'lazy gourmet' (good food made easy). I enjoy good tea and fine wine. My favorite teas at the moment are: Monkey Picked and Golden Monkey black. My favorite wines are medium to dark reds, and I really enjoy the red blends (mostly South American).
Ive been journaling lately .. something of a mix between a diary and a journal I suppose .. because its writing with drawing with tidbits I toss in. On my woods walks I always carry my journal and colored pencils and pens.
