About Me

I love to swap and share ideas with others so here I am! I collect vintage chocolate boxes & chocolate advertising memoribilia, faux foods, all things Cupcake, vintage postcards, holiday theme images, all things roses (especially pink roses), pin money purse banks,vintage wedding items, vintage china and linens, baking items for cupcakes, cookie cutters, etc etc....and the list goes on! Absolutely love Primitive crafts and country style home decor. I also have an extensive collection of Amish dolls, books and items. Dislikes: dark chocolate.

I work fulltime with the Aged & Disabled as an Activity Coordinator, and am also about to become a Marriage Celebrant.Interacting with people in whatever shape or form is what I love to do. :0) It's lovely to think that perhaps my swap will bring a smile to your face...

Most things from Bach to Beethoven to Andre Bottcelli, Ten Tenors,Secret Graden,Meatloaf.1940's,50's & 60's & 80's. JAZZ! Don't follow alot of the current stuff and do not like doof doof, techno or rap.

Comment: Hi Peta, thanks for the beautiful card and pineapple fruitcake recipe- I look forward to trying it. When you say "1 can crushed pineapple", how big is a can? Here in the US we can buy cans of pineapple in lots of different sizes, so if you tell me the mLs (or whatever) I can get the right amount. :) And for for "1-2 pkt mixed fruit", too. Response: Hi Margaret, thanks for your message, I sure know what you mean about the sizings...the can of pineapple size is 375gm and the pkt of mixed fruit is 500gm each, so if you want a dense cake, use 1 kg, is you want lighter then use the 500gm!
