About Me

I work in a library, walk all over town, and love to bake. If it's past the deadline and my line says "sent" and you haven't gotten your stuff, let me know. I always send- if it hasn't arrived within a reasonable time there was a problem with the postal service and I'll cheerfully send you a replacement.

I live near a shop that sells tons of great movie/tv/actor postcards. Got a request? Mention it and I might go shopping for you.

Things I'd like to receive

For fabric swaps: stripes, plaids, and large prints in pastel colors (except lavender). Pretty/interesting washi or origami paper, postage stamps (especially non-USA ones that are younger than 15 years old), artistamps, par avion stickers/labels, gel pens, sweets/candy/little snacks produced outside the USA, nature photography, felt, Japanese things, steampunk things, loli things, dragon things, obama things, tolkien things, botanical art and farm things, agnosticism things, small buttons/badges (the pin-on kind), strawberry shortcake things, cookie cutters, tea bags and powdered beverages and soups.

Things I'm less interested in

yarn and embroidery thread, pirate stuff, earrings, "contemporary christian" things.

Response: heh. I don't know- I've never thought to look for it when I'm out of town. :) Their website lists such varied retailers as Costco, Trader Joe's, Bi-Mart, Long's Drugs, and Stater Bros., so it sounds like they're still widely available. whoda thunk?

Comment: I love this swap! Everyone put such effort! Not only did I love the cards, but I was fond of the booklet of your celebration & the recipie! I showed my sister & she said it sounds, "DELICIOUS!" I told her she had to make it for my birthday! Since Tom & I share the same birthday, September 26th. My favorite card was "Gollum's Riddle."
