Greta oto may sound like the name of a silent movie star from Eastern Europe but is in fact the scientific name for one of the most exquisite – and little known – species of butterfly on the planer. This butterfly’s claim to fame is that its wings, spanning up to six centimeters, are almost completely transparent. as far east as Japan.

Red Lacewing Butterfly.
The only true predominantly red butterfly in Australia is the
Red Lacewing (cethosia cydippe).

A mermaid is a fictitious or mythical half-human sea creature with the head and trunk of a woman and the tail of a fish, conventionally depicted as beautiful and with long flowing golden hair.
Because I love water and especially being in and around it. I always thought of all the mythical creatures being a mermaid would be my first choice just because I would love to swim everywhere.
