Hi I'm Grace! I love crafting! Card making, crochet, knitting, beading, cross stitching and scrapbooking. I've never done a swap before but I really want to join as many as I can!

I have 3 cats (Charlee, Orlando & Daisy) and 1 dog (Max). Max is my very first dog and I just love him to pieces. He's a Yorkshire Terrier cross with a Maltese and he's 3 years old this April.

I'm a Medical Office Assistant and I also have a certificate in Web Design although I got that 10 years ago and everything has changed so if I ever wanted to get back into that field I'd have to get re-certified. Being an MOA is a very good job for me. I love it ;)

Favourite bands include: Theory of a Deadman, Sick Puppies, Paramore, MEghan Trainor, Gwen Stefani, Carrie UNderwood, Calvin Harris, Sweedish House Mafia, Avicii, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith.

I do listen to the radio at work, and I am always on the ear out for new music to add to my collection.

I am a HUGE reader. I read 250 books in 2014 and I'm hoping to top that this year. I'm on goodreads so please add me if you are on there!

I love fantasy, romance, thriller and comedy. I'm on a romance kick right now but I always check what my friends are reading to see if I'd like the book. I have found many hidden gems that way!

Action and Sci Fi are my top movies. Anything with a super hero in it I'll be sure to watch! The Avengers, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man are top ones. Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hunger Games, Into The Woods, Divergent are others.

I also like comedy to a point. I don't like stupid comedy and I rarely go see a romantic movie in the theaters. I wait for those to come to on demand. I loved The Heat, Pitch Perfect, 21 Jump Street and Neighbors. Fault in Our Stars, The Lucky One, and Leap Year are also great.

Again I love the fantasy and Sci Fi most but I also love Crime dramas. Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU. Also love Grimm, Constantine, Supernatural, The Flash, Arrow, Revenge and Once Upon a Time.

My alltime favourite past time is binge watching an entire tv show on Netflix while crocheting or knitting.

Crochet, knitting, cross stitch, beading and card making. Huge Stampin Up Fan. I love using stamps and embellishments to make a card pop.

I love purple, pink and blues for my crochet & knitting. When making gifts I make sure to take the favourite colours of the person into account.

I love learning new techniques for crochet and knitting. I recently learned the provisional cast on and grafting for knitting!! Youtube is a wonderful thing :)

I'm currently working on multiple projects, I have 7 afghans on the go (2 baby, 5 regular) and only 1 is a knitted afghan. I'm doing squares for most of them but the baby blankets. Almost all of the afghans I'm making are CALs (and 1 KAL) that I didn't finish last year (2014) because of getting caught up making Christmas gifts.

I love squares. I'd rather make an afghan with squares than a continuous one. I love different squares in a blanket too!
