I am a graduate student living in the deep south. I am working on my masters in geologic oceanography. I can not spell to save my life (so I apologize in advance for any glaring errors). I am a vegetarian.

I love anything to do with dogs, the beach, the ocean, fun random toys, chocolate (who doesnt though), knitting, sewing, reading, candles, crafts, tea, photography, things made by hand, overly large coffee mugs (to drink tea out of :D ), fun colored pens, cool office supplies (I know its weird, but new office supplies totally cheer up my day), rocks, glass bangles, lip gloss, handmade jewelry, mangoes, things that smell like mangoes, hand lotion, fun socks, travel, India, Indian and Thai food, old movies, cycling, rock climbing, yoga, running (or i am starting to get into this once the initial pain is over i am sure i will love it :D). . .

My favorite colors are blue and purple, and my favorite non-color is black (especially if its a black with a color undertone). I greatly dislike the color pink.

Huge fan of Stephen King, Tom Robbins, just started reading George R.R. Robbins A song of Ice and Fire (so far its great). The harry potter series, Poe, 1984, To kill a mockingbird, The electric Kool-aid acid test. . . really i like to read a little of everything, nothing too cheesy or mushy though. I am also trying to make sure i have read the classics. . .

Love the old classics: anything with fred astaire, gene kelly, audry hepburn. I am also a fan of cheesy horror flicks and really odd indi films, love tim burton and Johnny Depp (especially when working together), love cartoons, i just love movies!

Do not really watch a lot of tv, however the few shows I do watch are Grey's anatomy and CSI. I do love a good discovery channel/History channel or Travel channel documentary from time to time

I knit and crochet. Lately however I have been on a bit of a sock kick and knitting socks galore. I am also in the process of crocheting a ripple blanket for my mom in various shades of cool colors. It is a work in progress!! I also love to make things like greeting cards and note cards, love to paint, play with clay. Anything involving my hands and getting a bit messy (if you can make a mess with it, then I will likely do so :D)
