Hello! My name is Sheri. I'm currently 24 years old and live in Hawaii.

While I always wanted to penpal and do swaps and things of the sort, I've never got the chance to. That's why I'm very excited to start on Swap-bot! I'm excited to send letters and postcards, washi samples, and all those things of the sort! I can get busy at times seeing that I work full time and have many responsibilities, so that's why I feel that Swap-bot will match me nicely. I can swap when I am able to, but either way, I hope to give the best that I can to this!

While I loved reading when I was younger, I really don't have the chance now. My favorite books when I was younger were Roald Dahl books, the Gregor the Overlander series, David Lubar, Suzanne Wynne Jones, etc. I have a strange love for all things fantasy.

Nowadays, I stray more towards reading manga. I absolutely love manga of all types and genres. My favorite so far is slice-of-life, but I also enjoy fantasy, romance, seinen, shounen, shoujo, isekai, etc. Of my favorite manga series so far is 7 Seeds, Immortal Rain, Yotsuba&!, and much more. Honestly I've read so many I've lost count!

Unlike reading, I don't watch many movies or TV shows. Of my favorites are the Saw series, The Princess Bride, Pixar movies, and things of the sort. While I do enjoy Disney movies, I'm not crazy about them and on the nostalgia hype like how so many people are. My favorite children's movie is Megamind, however. That's a great movie!

I have so many random hobbies it's very sad. When I got a job and finally had the chance to finance myself, I got into hobbies at an astounding rate and I switch hobbies every so often as well.

My first hobby after graduating was dolls. I got into doll customizing and BJDs. I thought customizing dolls was amazing and so beautiful. And as for BJDs, though expensive, the artistry that goes along with it is amazing. I always wanted to sculpt my own doll one day but never got the chance.

Another one of my hobbies I had for a while was drawing. I used to draw a lot in school, but after graduating, I never had the chance to draw and my skills went down the drain! I was so sad, but I'm trying my best to make my way back up there once more.

I also enjoy planners and journaling. I got into Erin Condren planners at one point and absolutely loved the monthly and weekly kits people would make for them. They're so beautiful! I also got into Hobonichi as well and thank goodness that's cheaper. And I'm getting into journaling just now and think some spreads are gorgeous. If only I had nice handwriting I could make my journals beautiful as well...
