Hi! I am a wife of 29 years, mom to Joseph (28), and Mimi (grandma) to Leila (12/2/08) and Sofia (3/4/12). We also have 2 great dogs - a yellow lab and a beagle. (Lost our lab on 12/16/13, 1 month shy of his 14th birthday.)

I am a Christian and enjoy Bible Study and going to church.

I enjoy lots of different crafts, reading, swapping, cooking, baking, entertaining, writing, etc!

I also enjoy word games, cryptograms, Sudoku, and am an avid reader.

Oh, and I live for coffee! Love coffee! Coffee, coffee, coffee! Mmmmmm.

Paper crafts - scrapbooking, card making, mini books, gift tags, etc.

I like working with all colors, except neon. I like using embellishments like buttons, brads, lace, ribbons, yarns, hemp, etc.

I have a pretty good collection of rubber stamps and enjoy working with those too, water color pencils, markers, embossing...

Just discovered dotee dolls and am trying to make some of these - they are so adorable!

Recently purchased a Cricut and am having lots of fun with that!

I have so many favorite shows and my list of favorites seems to change all the time....

Big Bang Theory, Long Island Medium, Master Chef, Taboo, Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, Our America, Dr. Phil, Chopped, How I Met Your Mother....

I know there are more but I cannot think of the names right now.

I really enjoy a good movie with a bowl of popcorn! I especially like suspenseful films, foreign films, some comedies, and a good chick flick! And I especially love cuddling with my granddaughter and watching Disney/Pixar movies with her! I also love taking her to the movie theater! We have so much fun.

My home is non-smoking - no cigarette smell here. I know that many are sensitive and that's why I mention it. I do have two dogs and one of them always inspects packages... coming and going - LOL. He's my "Quality Contol Guy"! The other pup hides under the bed when anything new is brought into the house.

My favorite colors are pinks, purples, earthy tones - all of them really except bright neon colors.

I'm not really a tea drinker, but occasionally will have a cup. I like fruity teas, spiced teas, citrusy flavors and black teas. Not a fan of green teas.

It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity. (Dave Barry)

When you think about how huge the earth is and how its just a fraction of the size of the sun, which is just a speck of dust in the overall universe - its easy to rationalize eating a little cupcake!

If you have not received a swap from me and you were supposed to... please contact me! I do NOT flake on my swaps. Seriously, I don't.

Also, I rate as soon as I open the mail. I always rate fair and am not shy about giving hearts.

I know life happens and sometimes swaps get sent late...the only thing I ask is that you communicate that with me. I have had quite a few swaps that were sent past the deadlines, but I still rated those people based on the swap itself, and even gave hearts to most... why? because they communicated with me. I really don't think that's asking too much.
