Just want to let everyone know that I have been sick. I have something called mixed connective tissue disorder and it made my immune system attack my lungs and now I also have pulmonary fibrosis.... In the last 3 weeks I have been sick. I finally went to the doc and she had to admit me to the hospital with pneumonia. When I get sick, I can get sick sick. So they are extra careful with anything that has to do with my lungs.

Happy to say I am now home and ready to send out all my goodies. I was going koo koo in the hospital without my crafts. I did have my knitting so I at least did that.

I hope all that are my partners understand.. I have to also go back and make sure I gave everyone credit for the goodies I got in the mail while I was gone from home. Please let me know if I miss anyone. Thanks for understanding!

Hi Everyone! I'm a gal from Los Angeles. A self-proclaimed DORK! Not crazy, just a bit eccentric. I am a free spirit and love to crack up. I am a walking contradiction. I tend to smile too much. I suffer from occasional shyness although it might not appear that way from what I look like. I admire honesty, and am completely open-minded.

I can be a grouchy when I don’t feel good. Tends to be more often than not. I am disabled and stay home. I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disorder (MCTD). It is an autoimmune disease. I also have pulmonary fibrosis from it.

On top of that My daughter Eloara Sky born in 96 died in 98 at the age of two. This is more difficult thing to deal with than my disease. I take so much medicine from my illness that I can not have another child...So I have a doggie child..Niko a black lab/terrier mix. I do a lot of crafting to keep my mind busy..It is truelly better than therapy! :)

I love listening to any kind of music except for maybe rap but I give it a chance..haa My favs are nina simone, Classic Rock and classical music.

I'm obssessed with books as much I am with crafting. I read a lot of jonathan kellerman (Alex Delaware) Books. I just went to Little Tokyo in L.A. and bought 4 Japanese Crafts books. YAYYAYAY!

Me and My bf Chrissy Bear(petname) just seen Atonement and No Country For Old Men...He prefered No Country and I Atonement. I cried!

I love crafting anything..I will give it all a shot. I started crocheting when i was like 5 with one of my moms bfriends. I went to summer camp every year and the crafting was always my favorite thing to do. Leather crafts was the funnest. I still have some stuff from my childhood..talk about hoarding..heee I finally learned to knit 3 yrs ago and now i'm getting good at it if I say so myself.

I just got a TIVO for xmas..(thankies Chrissy) So I'm watching all kinds of tv which is not good because it is interupting my reading and crafting. UGH! should have made a new years resolution.

angels, saints..... spiders, bats, and skulls... photography... art..quattrocento and pre-raphaelite especially.... art...drawing, oils, acrylics, quarcoal my fav.... retablos..st. rita my fav... gardening...i collect cactus and succulents ...but love any flower...
