I'm an entertainment and beauty tv reporter and producer. In my spare time, I love salsa dancing, collecting charms, making jewelry, traveling, launching new business ideas or eating sushi so I can practice my Japanese.
And speaking of Japan, I am absolutely addicted (and loving it) to Hello Kitty and her original friends (My Melody, Little Twin Stars and so forth.) Though, I still have a space in my heart for her newbie pals!! I'm fluent in Spanish and Japanese (thanks to Hello Kitty) my ancestors are from Guatemala, Mexico, Spain and even Israel. Crazy stuff I tell you!! My fave colors are any shade of blue (from turquoise to dark blue), purple and of course anything pink or sparkly. :) I love mixing uptown glam (but never paying retail of course) with downtown chic (thrift store finds or my personal favorite something that belongs to an ex of yours or your current man). I'm a totally girly girl who also has an equally strong June Cleaver side. This side of me loves to be crafty in every way possible, take pictures, cook a new dish, quilt or knit, collect old postcards and b/w photos, write letters, read, take walks in nature and volunteer in my community. Though I must admit, being able to do craft hour and play dress-up with my Niece and God-Daughter on a regular basis lights up my soul.
I'M HIGHLY SENSITIVE TO CIGARETTE SMOKE, SO PLEASE BE MINDFUL WHEN SENDING THINGS IN THE MAIL. I WOULDN'T CARE SO MUCH IF MY THROAT DIDN'T START TO CLOSE UP. IT'S NOT A FESTIVE FEELING.LOL
I'm all about living life to the fullest and giving everything 150%. I can rest when I'm dead..lol I look forward to swapping with you guys on here. Best, L
Collecting vintage sterling silver charms, gumball plastic or metal charms, all things vintage Hello Kitty (long live 1976), anything showing vintage Barbie fashion (dolls, jewelry, pictures) because she really does have everything, anything Blythe, real black and white photos of Jackie O or Audrey Hepburn, cool TInkerbell memorabilia, unique Wizard of Oz items (since it's how I got my name), anything that has my name on it, old memorabilia of LOS ANGELES (postcards, charms, matchbooks, signs pictures) or mini toys that are vintage or unique and funky writing pens (felt or fine ball point).
I would love to ATC at least once, but so far I haven't got a clue where to start.

NEW UPDATE:
5/9/08-Thank you to all of you who sent me well wishes and positive energy while I was recouping. It really went a long way. I also want to publicly thank my amazing boyfriend Adam for holding down the fort while I was ill. I am now catching up my swaps. Sadly,Adam's Father passed away very suddenly at the age of 58. So honestly the last month and a half my head has been elsewhere. But the tide is finally turning for the better. So I'm trying to tie up all loose ends asap. Thank you all for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. May nothing but positivity and unexpected surprises enter your life on a daily basis!

Hope you feel better soon. I know what it's like to get sick. It happened to me last year, I got really bad bronchitis, which turned into pneumonia and couldn't work on swaps and got really behind. But, I had some understanding partners and hope you do too. Sounds like your boyfriend is taking good care of you. Hope you are feeling better.
