This photo speaks to me because it reminds me of when I used to do self hypnotherapy using the "pathway" induction. Ten years ago I took hypnotherapy training at BodyMind Academy in Bellevue. We would work on ourselves and with others and one of the relaxation introductions to get into trance was imagining a pathway that you are walking down, made out of whatever material you wanted to walk on. You'd usually start in a meadow and then as you walked along you'd notice things on your left and right. I seem to have lost the ability to get myself into trance anymore, but so long to do self hypno sessions again for relaxation, goal setting, insight etc.
Lovely profile Renee. My son has an acquired brain injury, he is 22 (nearly) and got it when he was 8. He became physically disabled but his senses were heightened. I love that quote you have -
