I listen mostly to country and hair bands. I know, weird combo:)

Favorite Books

I love to read and will read pretty much anything except sci-fi. Even if I don't 100% love a book, I usually have to finish it. Some of my favorites are:

-House of Sand and Fog (it really is that good!)

Favorite Crafts

Right now, I do Zentangle (I make cards and postcards with it) and I recently started origami.

Things I love....

-dogs

-nail polish

-fun socks (patterned ones, I don't wear any plain socks)

-shoes (so anything with shoes on it)

-origami paper

-anything purple

-tea (coffee and hot chocolate too, but I'm really into loose tea right now); I like most kinds of tea, except licorice flavors

-stickers

-postcards (naked or blank in an envelope is fine, your choice), blank cards and/or stamps as I mail a lot!!

Comment: I do not think your swap was worth $5-$10. I am a serious nail artist and I know what these items cost: 2 thin rolls of striping tape, 1 pack of French Nail Tip guides, and less than 30 polymer shapes. I rated a 5 because I can't be sure of what you paid for the 1 Essie Sleek Stick, though I know they are available in dollar stores everywhere. Though you could not send nail polish, it seems like you really just sent the very barest minimum. Glad to see though that you yourself received an awesome swap from your partner who went above requirements.

Response: I am sorry that you are unhappy with the swap. I would have appreciated a personal note to this effect prior to being berated on the forum. I'm not sure what dollar stores you're referring to, as the dollar stores around here carry nail appliques, but not Essie brand. Essie nail appliques cost around $10 alone. The other items were just additional things I tucked in. Is there something I can do to alleviate your frustration with this swap?
