UPDATE son of a poop!!! I know it seems I just went AWOL -- BUT I was in computer limbo with a major snafu & unable to use my computer where ALL swap info is -- like addresses & swap details!!! so I apologize profusely and will 1. try to get an e-mail to ALL the folks I am late in sending to AND 2. get EVERYTHING in the mail ASAP -- on the up side MOST stuff was nearly if not 100 % finished & I just needed addresses and minor perosonal details like fav colours etc SO it shouldn't be but a few days before EVERYTHING is back on track MY APLOGIES to anyone who thought they were flaked on :(*********
I love blues & oranges & burgundies BUT i am a fanatic for lime green. AS IN if i had my way all my accessories would be lime green or have lime green details.
I adore dragonflies, stars, snowflakes snowmen & angels. AND blue glass! how did I foget to mention BLUE GLASS ???
I do use bags for my groceries, farmer's market et al.
I go to work & come home in the cold, dark. I nanny & my son & I leave our house like at 7 am & return sometimes 12 hours later. We use public transport and walk, so we are in the elements here along the coast. Being a mama, I have knitted him an awesome hat & scarf. I have scarves & would utilize a hat OR much more some fingerless gloves, as I am pushing a jogger. My hands are petite.
I am an avid knitter/crocheter and could be thrilled by stuff for my "craft" ie needle roll, sewing kit type "baggie" with stuff like measuring tape, stitch markers, cable holders, etc. or "basket" to carry my current project around in.
I can't handle scratchy or rough fabrics against my skin, but if you have some thing soft and silky weehaw!
Shawls would be nice, cause sometimes a sweater or hoodie is too much here.
I would wear slippers or socks amd my feet are about an 8, give or take.
I cook a lot and kooky kitchen towels, pot holders, hot pads, napkins, placemats, canisters, etc are good ideas. My kitchen happens to be highlighted by a PINK oven & sink. But I am NOT a pink person.
My house is "decorated" in blues, greens, limes, aquas etc as a matter of course. Pillow covers, curtains, etc are all fun prints or shades of blue or green. In part this is because we live at the beach and in part cause the bathtub & bathroom sink are green, the trim in there is blue AND the wallpaper in the living room is light green & blue.
I write a lot as a writer. So journals notebooks, pens, etc are good ideas for me.
I make jewelry for myself, my daughters and friends. I am getting a little into beaded objects - I want to go beyond necklaces! I really lean towards natural stuff like bone/wood/glass etc for beads. Not into plastics, but metal is fine of course.
Celtic, classic rock, Mahler,
for any swap involving little goodies in a bag/purse/etc i do not wear makeup or lipgloss, BUT fun & funky nailpolish colours are great & i have long hair and love new stuff for it, i actually have a collection of chopsticks for my hair AND new colourful ones or with designs would rock my world big time.
I'm a Native American mother of 4 (3 tween/teen daughters & 1 preschooler son), a writer & editor by trade, my partner is a chef and i am the one to feed him and our assortment of other chef friends, I am the doting aunt to two little nephews, with another due this summer. Finally after a decade of pink princess stuff I can focus on blue boy stuffs!
Themes I really like ~ eagles, Celtic, traditional Native American, trees, leaves, stars, autumn & winter are tied as my fav seasons, Victorian.....
6 feet under, Numb3rs, Dr Who, House
allergies - food preferences ~~~ I am allergic to pork & mushrooms, do NOT like cherries or peach flavor
nuts are okie like almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts BUT no cashews or pistachios! yucky-poo ;)
i'd prefer chocolates {honeycomb ie Velvet Crumble is a BIG fav} vs hard candies or mints. I neverever chew gum!
i LOVE green teas but no orange flavored teas & i usually do decaf on tea BUT full strength on coffee!

RATINGS INFO -- on http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/2338 Bathtime Swap I was originally partnered with a known scammer and was reassigned to send to the person she was supposed to, TartLover07 http://www.swap-bot.com/member/?id=6222 - I asked her to rate me on her profile for the swap she recieved from me as there is no other way I can receive a rating for this swap. However Tartlover is the ONLY person (besides the scammer) in that swap who did NOT send anything out either! so even though I sent a VERY stuffed box of bath salts, bath bombs, a massage roller, foot scrub, handmade Peruvian cotton washcloths and more I do NOT have a rating for that swap.

Kia - you still owe me a return item in the talent swap. I sent you a ceramic ornament and I never heard back from you. Remember you were supposed to send a return item once the item was received? I'd love to hear from you. If you can't send something, I'd at least appreciate a rating ... thanks.
Willow Tree looks around and wonders if kiakiali read Willows last comment here. :-|
Sent you mail today regarding the Day at the Beach -Pail swap
I stopped by to see ya. I see your trying to get back on track. I hope people have patience with you and all goes well. I also noticed you you clicked sent on the "A day at the beach - pail" swap! Kudos! :)
So sorry to everyone -- beyond words! I will be updating my profiel to explain but it does feel like a litany of excuses even though it is true - MANY MANY swaps were sent & some resent this past week -- I will spend the better part of the next week getting in touch with those I shipped to to be 100% sure they received the stuff & getting the last things out - BUT all things are back on track after hell. Please forgive me for the situations beyond my control!
kiakiali please contact someone you are getting further in trouble by still being in swaps and not answering people. what is your story
Bad swapper...doesn't send or email....Watch out !
I'm considering sending 2 or 3 hot pad cloths usable as washcloths also. They are my own design. Would it be enough for easy peasy int. swap? Do I have to add something more?
one of the participants of the newbie craft swap. got the stuff ready, mailing out soon!
