Originally from Seattle, I live in Chicago with my husband and our dog Rollie. I love all things artistic, whimsical and escapist. I love to travel but I'm most content to sit in a hammock and read. Artistically and thematically I love vintage-y stuff but also enjoy bright cheerful things too. I'm all across the board baby.

Lots and lots of stuff but Wilco, Prince, Arcade Fire,Tom Waits, The Decemberists, Rilo Kiley, Death Cab for Cutie and The Postal Service are my favorites right now.

Anything having to do with Paper - Cards, Paper Flowers, Collage, Altered journals and the odd scrapbook. Interested in learning how to mosaic, embroider and make Jewelry.

Likes - any kind of chocolate (except with seeds or nuts), baking, cooking and new recipes to try, random bits of life, gummi bears, soap, old postcards, paris, the circus, herbal tea, buttons, magazines, anything handmade, the smell of lemon or citrus, magnolia, rose.

Dislikes - patchouli, glitter, lace, black licorice or anything anise flavored, Rasberry or watermelon scented things.

Allergies - My stomach hates seeds and nuts, but am ok with things that are nut flavored/scented (like almond soap etc.)
