SAHM mommy to two great girls! I am learning more about vegan cooking and getting better at it each day. When the weather is nice, our family is outside! Hiking, camping, exploring. When it's not so nice, board games, movies, and good books are the activities of choice.
Favorite Music
I'll listen to just about anything other than hardcore & gangsta rap. Right now Rihanna & Depeche Mode are in heavy rotation. Last week it was Elton John & the Urban Cowboy soundtrack. Who knows what we'll be listening to next week!
Favorite Books
Right now I am working my way through Wayne Dyer's Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life. Before that I got totally hooked on Twilight (I'm sitting on the waiting lists for the others in the series from the library).
All time favorites: Llama Llama Red Pajama, The Pretty Bones, Good In Bed, The Hundred Secret Sences, Skelleton Hiccups, A Wrinkle In Time and just about anything by Anne McCaffrey.
Favorite book series: The Hobbit, Ember, Pern.
Favorite Movies
Birdie. The Princess Bride. Harold & Maude.
Favorite Television
House. Family Guy. Wipeout.
Favorite Crafts
Right now I'm totally into sewing. I also enjoy beading, paper crafts, photography. I would LOVE to learn how to knit! The only crafts I haven't tried are stained glass (the real thing, not painted), resin jewelry, and flower arrainging (OK, I tried it and I suck!)

Hello, I have seen that you have signed on to swap bot and haven't answered to anyone's messages. And it looks like you have flaked on a swap for the kidlets swap. Your partner didn't get hers, and you were even sent not one but two kidlets for your daughters. If you partners do not hear from you by this weekend your name will be listed in the swap-bot flakers group. I have sent you a pm and you haven't answered it.
I still have not recieved my kidlet swap in the mail.....I also have not had a reply to my messages Please contact me
I am worried that the kidlets that I sent to you for our swap never arrived. I worked very hard on them to get them done on time and sent them over 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing from you. Please tell me if you have still not received them and I will remake and resend ASAP. Thanks!

I am concerned that many of the items sent out for the following swaps have not been received:
Coloring Book Page Swap Pen Pals Swap Just to Say Hello! Swap
These items were all shipped out the week of February 19th. My husband had oral surgery that week and I was spending more time than I thought I would taking care of him and keeping the kids occupied so he could rest. A neighbor offered to make a post office run for me and I gave her a basket full of stuff to mail. These swap items were in that basket. I have not been able to get a hold of this neighbor yet to find out when exactly they were sent. If I do not see her today, I should see her sometime this weekend to deliver her Girl Scout cookies. Once I find out from her when these items were sent, I will update all my swap partners.
It troubles me that you all did not get your swap stuff! I am new to Swap-Bot and was trying really hard to make sure everything went out in a timely manner. If the items were in fact sent when given to my neighbor, you all should have had them by now. Once I speak to her, I will update you all. I would like the opportunity to re-send items that have not been received as well, should it happen that they were “lost in the mailâ€.
I will get to the bottom of this…
