My friends like to call me the punk rock martha stewart. I LOVE homemaking, crafting and cooking. I have a Lady Gaudalupe themed bathroom and am always interested in religious/iconic images or items and anything retro. Info from my MSpace on my interests: recipes- although this borders on obsession, drunken mad libs, low-brow art, apples to apples, dive bars, flea markets, tough crowds, naked women, rhinestones, glitter, record reviews, fake eyelashes, baking, glue guns, vintage aprons, festivals, music, pink elephants, collecting vinyl, mod podge, snowglobes, costuming, camping, going to shows, dance parties, my sewing machine, day of the dead, polka dots and paper from the late 1800s through the late 60s in the form of advertisements, postcards, photographs, and or books.

i have a serious weakness for one man bands, but i don't discriminate, I love it all. Garage, country, soul, stoner, metal, electroclash, whatever. My records collection covers a gamut of styles. Goner records, Voodoo Rhythem, In the Red, Recess. some bands i like: the sonics, Lunachicks, roger miller, slobberbone, old 97's, dystopia, brassy, beehive and the barracudas, the gossip, har mar superstar, harlan t bobo, the oblivions

I'll read just about anything, but am partial to memoirs. David sedaris, Hollis Gilespie, Aaron cometbus, james lelikes- gallery of regrettable food and interior desecrations- if you haven't seen these books, pick them up they're HYSTERICAL......I really love cook books. Ina Garten is my latest favorite....joy of cooking, dictionary....Magazines are my true reading pleasure, though. I take Punk planet, Razorcake, Juxtapoze, Venus and Bust, although Ready Made is fun as are Varla, Horizontal Action, Modern Drunkard. Yeah. I like to read. A lot.

I LOVE sewing, making costumes, millinery is my newest passion and have been making fascinators as of late, collage, this year i plan to teach myself how to quilt and embroider. I also love making pin-up themed light switch plates too!
