I'm an architect and a total wanna-be graphic designer. I spent 5 years doing historic preservation, restoration and renovations to old houses, but have a love for modern design too. My personal style is simple, clean lines, modern mixed with vintage. I hate design snobs, clutter and love organizing. Things I like: Danish modern, Scandinavian modern, Ikea, vintage modern, Russel Wright, Alvar Aalto, David Salmela, Thomas O'Brien, Terence Conran.

Beside architecture, design and decorating, I love all things paper related: cards purchased and handmade, stationary, altered books, scrapbooks (not the prepackaged or predesigned kind), journals, letterpress and anything you can think to make out of paper.

I work full-time at a residential architecture firm but am starting up my own design consulting business and am in the process of getting my real estate license. I'm also wife to Carl. No kids yet.
